ABOUT ME

I was born in Milwaukee and spent much of my childhood in rural Dane County, where I learned early the value of community, hard work, and looking out for one another. After living in several parts of the country, my husband Sean and I chose to put down roots in the Town of Christiana in 2010, where we raised our three children and built a life grounded in rural values.

My professional life has always centered on service. I worked as a special education paraprofessional in the Cambridge School District, spent time in the UW–Extension Dean’s Office, and later served for nine years as a Family Resource Coordinator for a statewide K–12 virtual school. In that role, I connected families across Wisconsin to housing, childcare, food assistance, healthcare, legal aid, and other essential services—seeing firsthand how policy decisions impact real people.

Today, I work as the Community Outreach and Communications Coordinator and Food Pantry Coordinator for the Cambridge Community Activities Program (CAP), where I continues to connect neighbors to resources and strengthen partnerships that support working families, seniors, and rural communities.

These experiences shape my priorities on the Dane County Board. I bringsa practical, people-centered approach focused on food security, public safety, responsible budgeting, protecting farmland and groundwater, expanding rural broadband, and making sure small towns and rural residents have a strong voice in county decisions. I serve to ensure government shows up for people when it matters—and do so responsibly, transparently, and with respect for the communities I serve.
